Release. Do not re-live.

I’ve been going over the concept of pain and how to relieve yourself, whether it’s mental anguish, or emotional, or even physical pain — how to alleviate that.

And I think, as humans, we have this capacity to heal and to free ourselves of all kinds of pain that are self-imposed, really. And personally, I experience a lot of physical pain, and what I learned is that in that experience of physical pain, what worsens it is fighting it.


Because when you fight pain of any kind, it allows that force to debilitate you and make it appear as though you’re weaker than that which you’re fighting. And that, in itself, is a mentality that weakens you and actually convinces you that you’re not strong enough to get through and surpass what it is you’re experiencing.

So don’t fight it — release it.
